I never realised how difficult it was going to be to write about myself but here it goes. I’m a native kiwi -New Zealander, not a fruit- living somewhere in Mexico. Well that somewhere is actually Xalapa, Veracruz, a rather unknown of corner of this huge country.
Ever since forever I have been interested in languages, travel and different cultures. With my heart set on learning Spanish and beaches lined with palm trees I first set off to Costa Rica then Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru and finally Mexico where I got caught up in the madness and decided to stay.
For me different cultures are just as intriguing as visiting different places and I always find myself fascinated with the diverse quirks and characteristics I come across. While I would more than love to travel all over the world, for the moment this is mainly about what I know best; Latin America – it’s places, it’s culture and a little bit of my wish list here and there. Really, it is a bit of everything, a work in progress about travel, living, life, culture, experiences and whatever else comes to my mind. A blend of topics about as disorganised as the lovely country I live in.

Hi, I bumped into your blog when searching about something and I realized that you and I are living in the same city, haha. Anyway, maybe you’ll see me here often from now on, as I find interesting Mexico’s lifestyle’s point of view from a foreigner. Keep up the good work!
