5 Reasons To Visit New Zealand

Even though I am not currently living in my homeland it doesn’t mean I love it any less. Yes, it has plenty of visitors but that’s what makes it what it is; a beautiful multicultural gem hidden in the south pacific. Not convinced yet? Here are 5 more reasons why you should make the trip over to Aotearoa.

NZ is home to the southernmost capital in the world – Wellington! Wellington is also home to our government, said to be the most transparent – or least corrupt – in the world.

People are very laid back and friendly in New Zealand. It’s not hard to find someone who’s willing to lend a hand and help you out, maybe invite you for dinner or even put a roof over you head for a while!

New Zealand currently offers a working holiday scheme, offering nationals of around 40 countries the chance to work and travel in NZ for a year, making it easier to travel around especially if you are on a budget. We are also home to the adrenaline capital of the world, Queenstown. Even if you are not into bungee jumping, jet boat riding, sky diving and paragliding it is surrounded by beautiful scenery, great walks and has some amazing food to keep you entertained. You can also relax here and has plenty to do in both Winter and Summer. What’s more it is just a hop, skip and a jump away from more mountains, glaciers, rivers and natural beauty.

New Zealand is also one of the safest places in the world! You are very unlikely to come across common dangers you might find in other countries, so you really can just come, sit back, relax and enjoy. Or jump out of a plane if that’s your kind of thing.

So what’s holding you back?
